Who we are - and what we plan to do
Loka AI is looking for a founding-level technical builder, who join early as a Founder Associate.
Someone who is work with us full-time (or near full-time), build nice HR-tech solution, learn fast, and grow with founder-level responsibility.
- What we do: We build secure, explainable AI agents for corporate HR, helping large companies improve CV screening, talent intelligence, and HR workflows.
- Our niche: corporates (1000 - 20000 employees) using SAP SuccessFactors.
- Why we are different: Our systems run on locally-hosted open-source LLMs, so sensitive employee and candidate data never leaves controlled infrastructure. We combine explainable AI with human-in-the-loop review, instead of black-box automation.
Your benefits: You will receive EXIST funding with us (from June 2026), with potential VSOP upside.
Why we look for “reinforcement”
After 1 year talking to many corporates HR teams, the founding team is receiving more customer requests than we can handle.
Corporates ask us to build secure AI agents for recruiting, talent intelligence, skills, and future-of-work workflows.
Therefore it’s time to grow the team!
Your responsibilities
You work directly with the 3 founders, join customer workshops, build products for real enterprise users, and help shape Loka AI’s technical foundation.
You won’t have to do sales (well duh, corporate sales is tough AF) 
.
Depending on your strengths and interests, you could own 1–2 Specialized AI agents for SAP SuccessFactors:
Our preferred profile: “entrepreneurial tech nerds”
You are a technical generalist with AI ambition and product curiosity.
You may be a full-stack developer, backend engineer, AI engineer, ML engineer, technical founder type, PhD candidate, or strong master graduate.
You should bring:
- strong Python and backend development skills
- basic understanding of LLMs, RAG, or AI agents
- ability to build independently with high ownership
- product thinking and curiosity for enterprise customer problems
Nice to have:
- Next.js or React, PostgreSQL / pgvector, vector databases
- Docker and modern development practices
- AI agent frameworks, Azure, private cloud, or on-prem deployment experience
No need to be a deep AI researcher, our CTO Markus covers the advanced model and research side.
Working model
- Start: immediately
- Commitment: full-time or near full-time
- Location: Munich preferred
- Working time: 2-3 days in office / week
- Regular founder sessions in Munich and selected customer workshops
Your benefits
We currently have 1 EXIST funding slot available:
- €2,500/month for non-PhD profiles
- €3,000/month for PhD profiles
There will be a VSOP package for demonstrating founder-level ownership, starting after ~6 months (with appropriate cliff and vesting structure), plus bonus if the company make profits.
